How do you migrate from AAWP to Winamaz?

If you were using the AAWP plugin on your site and you have chosen to switch to Winamaz, we offer a migration plugin that will make it easier for you to replace the shortcodes.

ATTENTION: THIS PLUGIN IS NOT LINKED TO THE SALE OF WINAMAZ. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY RESULTING CRASH OF YOUR DATABASE. WE DO NOT PROVIDE ANY SUPPORT IN CASE OF MISUSE OF THIS PLUGIN. IF YOU FOLLOW THIS TUTORIAL PRECISELY, IN THE WORST CASE, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RESTORE YOUR DATABASE.

Which shortcodes are currently being replaced?

Some advanced filters are not yet available on Winamaz. Others, like price filters, work differently. You will have to modify some shortcodes with the shortcode generator to find all the product selection by price features for example.

Replace AAWP by Winamaz quickly:

1/ Backup your database

If you don’t know how to do it, the easiest way is to install the “UpdraftPlus WordPress Backup Plugin”. You can easily find it in the list of wordpress extensions on your back-office. If you are not satisfied with the migration, or if you have any problems, you can simply “restore” the backup.

2/ Check that Winamaz is installed and configured on your site

3/ Install ” Winamaz Migration Tool “, and activate it

4/ Click on ” Start the migration “

The plugin will search for the shortcodes to replace in your pages, articles and custom posts. If your site has a high volume of pages, you will have to repeat the operation several times, until you see the following message “Operation completed” appear.
